I have been working through the topic in CCL learn called NZ 2.0 which has involved following a lot of links to the resources of different NZ govt depts, local councils, business , education and community organistaions and also public institutions like galleries and museums. There is just so much information that can be accessed online that you can spend literally hours on task and also off task exploring different links.
I enjoyed exploring Signposts, a blog of the online resource Te Ara: the Encyclopedia of New Zealand. It has entries about Te Ara resources and also discussions on related topics and events. This website is one example of the Web 2.0 characteristics of Concentration, where data is collected and Diffusion where techniques and tools, in this particular instance a blog, allow people to connect and interact with that website

This is my fifth and penultimate CCL ...
This is my fifth and penultimate CCL learn session and I am finding this one quite challenging - perhaps it's a case of burnout rather than lack of ability or interest??? The course has certainly involved quite a lot of extra time over and above my basic core hours. In this session we are learning about Cloud Computing and exploring Google docs where I created this post and then transferred it to my blog.
